The architectural design features an enclosed courtyard, offering private outdoor spaces while optimising natural light and visibility. Catering to individuals aged 18-65 with suspected or confirmed mental health conditions, Eastern Acute provides a range of therapies, activities, and treatments tailored to each care plan.

The Inpatient Rehabilitation Service (IRS) is a dedicated 40-bed facility providing specialist rehabilitation services across the state. Embracing a “person-first” approach, the IRS assists individuals with serious mental illnesses to reclaim meaningful roles in society.

The Mental Health Triage (MHT) service, located at Glenside Health Services, collaborates with the Northern and Southern Local Health Networks (LHNs) to provide a 24/7 telephone-based service for individuals requiring emergency mental health services across metropolitan Adelaide.
