Finding your way around the site

Consumers are cared for across two blocks:

If you are travelling to the Hampstead Rehabilitation Centre by bus, see the Adelaide Metro website for latest timetables and routes.

Visiting hours

Please check with the care team to find the best time for your visit, and kindly follow any guidance from staff about leaving the ward.

Parking

If you are travelling by car:

  • a free short-term drop-off and pick-up area is available near the main building
  • parking is available onsite and rates are payable by the hour.

The hospital is accessible for wheelchairs. Car parking spaces for people with disability permits are available in all patient and visitor car parks.

If you are a volunteer or have to attend the hospital for frequent clinical reasons you can apply for a fee exemption.

Food and drinks

A café is located in Ward Block 1. 

Public Wi-Fi

People who visit a number of SA Health sites will now have access to free Wi-Fi. Connecting to the free Wi-Fi is a simple two step process – you do not need a username or password:

  1. Go to Settings then Wi-Fi on your device, and select the SA Health Public network
  2. Accept the Acceptable Use Policy.
