PARC clinical research
High quality clinical research infrastructure with experienced research teams able to accommodate researchers, collaborators and the community.
PARC clinical research is a high acuity clinical trials unit within the Royal Adelaide Hospital and it was developed in collaboration with the University of Adelaide. The unit meets the continuing demand for high quality clinical research infrastructure in the state, builds research capacity, and provides ongoing opportunities for healthcare innovation and collaboration. PARC clinical research completes a range of clinical trails through all of the development phases (phase 1 through to phase 4).
It provides a visible state focus for more complex or higher acuity clinical trials, through provision of safe high-quality facilities, through ready access to both clinicians and facilities for diagnosis and management of a wide range of medical conditions, and through input from highly regarded and experienced research teams. In addition, it is a facility that effectively complements other trials units within the health precinct, and in other regions and institutions in South Australia.
PARC has extensive experience in the conduct of clinical trials in a broad range of therapeutic areas and across various development stages. Our physical location in the RAH and our university heritage allow us access to a large number of specialist clinicians, many who require a unique, flexible facility such as PARC with experienced nursing staff to conduct their clinical research studies - or who can provide patient referrals.
